NEW WEGO3 HEADPHONE SOCKET STOPS WORKING

Hi,  there's a problem with my new wego3.    It works great with Djay, but as soon as I try to use audiobus the headphone socket gets disabled.   Let's say I only have djay open in audiobus with no other app running & it still stops working.    I've upgraded to the full version of audiobus but there's no more settings options to help.   I've also tried the Djay settings which don't affect the channel routing.   I've contacted both Djay and audiobus but all I'm getting is a runaround it seems.   Can someone help ?

Hi There.

Good News and Bad News.

Good News is that it is not your wego3 or Audiobus (99% sure). the bad news is that it is Djay2!!!

My wego2,audiobus & djay were working great for over a year until I did the last upgrade to Djay2 a few weeks ago and Viola, the headset stopped working on the wego.

I too upgraded and downgraded audiobus and it made no difference. I'm going to find the older version of Djay and downgrade it back to how it was before the issue.

Djay works fine without audiobus but we are both using it for a reason so it needs to get sorted out.

I will let you know that the djay downgrade solves the problem until Djay or anyone else solves the software issue.

OK, It's confirmed.

Both Djay2 version 2.6 & 2.6.1   stop the headset working on the wego2 & 3 when used with audiobus (anyversion).

 

I downgraded djay back to 2.5.2 and it is all working again (with the old and newer versions of audiobus).

 

I don't know how easy it will be for you to downgrade to 2.5.2, but my ipad is jailbroken so I can install any version.
