[SOLVED] DDJ-SX and 1 active PA speaker configuration question

I have one speaker with two xlr/trs inputs(for different source) and DDJ-SX.

What is the optimal way to connect the speaker with the DDJ unit?

Since I won't be doing stereo, do I

1) connect one side of output on ddj to speaker

2) connect both sides of output on ddj to two different sources on speaker?

And if its option 1, do I configure ddj-sx as mono?  for 2 stereo?

My other question is do I need xlr female to female cable to use xlr ports on ddj-sx and speaker?

You connect the L output from the SX to the speaker on your left, and the R output from the SX to the speaker on your right (or vice-versa if you'd like the stereo image to be the right way around for the audience, facing you). DO NOT connect two outputs from the SX to two different inputs on one speaker.

If you are only using one speaker, only connect one line - and yes, you can configure the mixer options within Serato DJ to be for a mono output.

The cable you will typically use is a female XLR (for the SX end) to male XLR (for the speaker end).
