Thanks for the replay first of all :-)
while i'm playing, the song just stop for 1 second and return to play
for no reason...
Does the waveform stop playing or just the audio playback through that channel?
Does it happen with all audio from the software or just one channel at a time?
Which firmware are you using on the SZ? You can find instructions on determining the firmware version and updating (if necessary) on this page.
Hi,
Yes the waveform stop for a second too , and it happened with all audio from the software
i'm using the latest version of firmware v1.20
Are you running any Serato plugins?
Do you mean? Serato Video or Flip?
I'm Using Serato Video but the problem happened even without "Serato Video" is on
Okay, thanks - let me check a couple of things and get back to you.
Can you confirm the version of Serato you're running?
Right now i'm working with v1.7.5 But this problem was happened even in v1.7.0 - v1.7.4
Hey @Tzealon > The engineers would like to know if you noticed the CPU light (at the top right of Serato) illuminate orange or red to indicate processor load issues? If you didn't notice it, please try running the software again to the point where you have a freeze -- and check to see if that indicator illuminates again.
The other thing you can do is open up the system process monitor to see if anything else is occupying significant system resources (either CPU or memory) at the time the dropouts are occurring.
Hi friends
I've already check this things before.. the memory usage dosen't uses a half of 16gb i have in my mac
about the CPU light i'll check it and hit you back, but i dont think the problem related to my mac technical specifications
i think its communication problem between the controller and the software
As I said, you could open the Activity Monitor and see what else is running -- it's possible you might have a runaway application hogging RAM or CPU, causing the drop-out.
there is no problem with the cpu at all and also the memory usage
but right now i'm running serato dj v1.7.5 and it seems like the problem fixed, i don't sure...
if the problem will return i'll let you know and we'll continue to tryin' solve it together.
thanks a lot friends :)
Have you checked that there is no problem with CPU usage or are you guessing? Try running the activity monitor while playing and if the hiccup occurs, take note of the indicator within Serato as well as the monitor list to see if there's something causing a spike in activity.
