Assuming you have CH1 set to USB, have you got the master output set within the Mac audio output to the SZ's 0/1 outputs?

DDJ-SZ usb audio
I've used DDJ-SX for 1.5 year and during that period of time I used the usb connection to get the audio in my laptop and stream it to the internet. aka I used the ddj-sx internal soundcard.
Now I've bought the DDJ-SZ and I cant do the same. After installing the driver, updated the firmware and everything there is no audio signal when I try to use the DDJ-SZ sound card. I can see VU meter is live in the Input window but no sound to the speakers no matter what I do.
It's a Macbookpro with 10.9.4 and Serato 1.6.3.
Any idea what did I miss?

Back from vacation so sorry for the delay.
I attach a screenshot of sound settings there you can see that there is active signal from the ddj-sz and the audio devices window there you can see the ddj-sz and everything grayed out.
Before I sold my old ddj-sx I did reconnect and it worked as intended so this problem is limited to the ddj-sz for me on both my computers. I'm sure it's a very simple solution to it and I'm gonna feel very stupid when it gets solved. :)
