MAJOR PROBLEM WITH ETHERNET HUBS!

Now I'm not a computer geek but the very first time a plugged in the ethernet "Link" cables and then unplugged them I knew they were CHEAP! They are not smooth at all whether you are going in or out. It didn't bother me so much untill today my 2000's wouldn't LINK and I flipped out. Read the forums , researched, researched, tested multiple cables and it just happens to reconnect when I jiggle the connection in the back of the unit. So it's just loose. It's BRAND NEW! Come on Pioneer! I spent $4000 on these 2 units. They are under warranty but this shouldn't have ever happened. More thought needs to go into product development before DJ products go out. I have tons of ideas and one of them would def be using the very best connectors on equipment that cost so much! Please let me know if any upgrades to help my situation become available. Thanks and I will always support Pioneer...

Both mine have failed and through light use only. I've had two laptops over a period of 6 years, never had one network port fail.
Another example of the use of the cheapest parts in going to market.
Had to replace both at my own expense.

@BriChi Didn't you test them out?

not sure what you mean by this, you mean test them before they were released? Or test the connectivity in general?

I have had my Nexus' since they were released and have no issues with the usb and ethernet ports, they definitely look and feel more solid. My 2000's however had crappier connections, wiggling_ certain cables would cause disconnect issues and the center of the usb ports were breaking on some_
