Looping & Cueing

So I set a cue point on a track using the master cue button, and then make a loop further on in the track. After I've done with the loop and press the cue button, it cues to the beginning of the loop instead of the point I set up first. Then i have to press the skip track back button to get back. Why?? My 1000's didn't do this(as I recall).

Also, when pitch bending with the wheel, sometimes it skips the track instead of bending? These issues are present on both units.

Yes, your 1000 would have done the exact same thing; setting a loop sets a new master cue (in) point.

You can record a hot cue to the first (main) cue point and can then easily recall it regardless of what loops are set.

The tracks (or playback) should not skip when using the jog to pitch-bend, are you sure you're not pressing the top of the jog and that you are using the latest firmware on the players?

Ok cool, I just can't remember ever having to set hot cues on the 1000's, no worries then. Regarding the other thing...um, yes, I'm sure I'm not pressing the top. I'm not a noob.. When I use the jog wheel sides to pitch bend, it sometimes skips through AS THOUGH I AM pressing the top. It does this sometimes on ones I've tried in clubs too(although not all), so its not isolated to mine. Also, yes, I'm on the latest firmware.

Two things then -- first, try adjusting the jog tension down a bit, if it's too tight, I've heard users say it can accidentally "scratch".  Second, it could be a damaged jog pressure switch and needs repair.
