Not reading a good usb

I use the pioneer cdj 2000 over a year now and i recently buy two flash drivers Corsair Flash Voyager® GT USB 3.0 32gb  (http://www.corsair.com/usb-drive/flash-voyager-usb-drives/flash-voyager-gt-usb-3-32gb-usb-flashdrive.html) and the cdj 2000 doesn't read it. My guestion is why the cdj 400 read this flash drive and the cdj 2000 doesn't?

Thanks.

@ Pulse > why this flash drive is compatible with cdj 400 and cdj 350?

@Vasilis > Is the 350 reading your rekordbox content?

@ Pulse > Yes the cdj 350 works perfect with this usb and rekordbox content.

@Vasilis > Good news, the engineers have ordered that same flash drive to test it; the problem is not every flash drive is created equally and specific controller chips can cause problems.  I'll post more information when they receive the drive and test it.

Same issue here; brand new Corsair Flash Voyager 64GB USB stick, light just flashes and cannot be read in either CDJ2000.

Have tried formating it to FAT32 with windows (using EASEUS), and formating it to FAT32 under linux.

Could do with this getting fixed ASAP as ive got too many tracks for a single 32GB stick hence the upgrade

@Vasilis > The engineers received their flash drive and were able to replicate the problem of it not being read.  They say this is rather unusual and will be diagnosing it to determine what can be done.  Thanks for your patience.

It may not be something that is "fixable" with a firmware update simply by virtue of the chipset used in the flash drive, but we will post more information when it becomes available.

Hi, have the same problem. Flash Voyager 6 GB not 'read' by cdj2000. Used the partitionwizard as well. not solving the problem. What to do? bought 2 of dem sticks. Can anybody suggest a good (working) quality USB stick (64GB or 32 GB). And is it always necessary for USB to work on cdj2000 to change partition and Fac? thanks.

@Pieter > Not all flash drives are created equal; it would appear the Flash Voyager 64GB drives are problematic in the CDJs (as previously noted).

Hi Pulse,

I got the same problem as above. I got 2 of the Corsair Flash Voyager GT 3.0. I tried formatting it a couple of times according to this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QYp71yrnvNw with my mac book pro. But still everytime I put it in a CDJ-2000 only the red light blinks.. Are they useless now for dj-ing??

Engineers have tested them and know there's an incompatibility with the chipsets used in Corsair Voyager USB3 devices - they are hoping to craft a work-around for it but in the meantime, we suggest using a different USB device.

Just following-up to see if anyone has any remaining problems when using the latest firmware / software versions.
