Strange thing happened yesterday at my cdj2000

As I say in title yesterday a strange thing happened with one of my cdj2000 at home.

I was playing a playlist with 40 tracks in it from a USB stick which was in deck A and deck B was directly linked to A.

Both cdj2000 have latest firmware and USB stick is 64Gb and has less than 40Gb of music listed as playlists.

Some playlists have 10 tracks and I have a few with 100 tracks all exported from RB.

Now to the problem. When I finished playing the playlist with the 40 tracks (Ihad no problem until then)

I decided to listen to some tracks from another playlist that has 90 trakcs in it.

I loaded the track I wanted in deck B (the one on link mode)

but when I pressed play botton the track started to play from 30sec before the track finishes,

instead of playing the track normally from the start.

I pressed next track, pressed play and same thing happened.

I powered off after disconnecting the usb stick and started it again and same thing happened.

Later after scrolling many tracks cdj2000 started to work normally again and played tracks from the beginning.

I want to mention that there was no cue marks or points saved or loaded in each track.

Cdj2000 secided for a while to play only 30sec of the finish of each track and that was happening for 6-7 mins.

Also I have to say both cdj2000 that I have are for home usage only.

I never take them to the club or at gigs and I have never experienced a problem like this before.

Has anybody experienced anything like this, or has anybody got any idea why this thing happened ???

My wife today said that propably I had set my cdj2000 to do that,

but my wife doesn't use them and I don't think there is a setting that does this.

Anything will be apreciated

@Gavin it never happened to me again. I have used my cdjs a couple of time since then and had no problems.

Only that moment that I wanted to play a track from another playlist and had to search from it by using scroll.

Thanks

Yes, I had that problem once back in March - the issue was a bad export database causing a track to jump from its playback to the middle of another song.  I sent my drive to the engineers and they figured it out.  After a reformat of the drive and re-export, it was all good again!

"Auto Cue" was activated. Actually now that I am thinking it, when I was pressing play to a track it would jump to the end of another track.
