[SOLVED] SDXC Higher Capacity SD card Support.

Hello All,

Can any one tell me if the Sandisk 64GB sd cards are compatible with the CDJ 2000 ? this model specifically -

SanDisk Extreme® Pro™ SDHC™/SDXC™ UHS-I Memory Cards

I  want to make sure there are no know issue before purchase. Trying to put my bread and butter sounds on higher capacity sd cards so I don't have to be swapping cards during performances. Please provide me feedback. I appreciate your support and guidance. Almasol.

That's awesome DJccccc!  Can you or anyone confirm that this works on the CDJ2000 in addition to the CDJ2000 Nexus?

I also use a 16GB version of that card but with only 32mb cache class 10. (I used it on my DSLR).

But I bought low profile flash drives also for both drives ( will keep them inside the slot).

Having a big sd card is good and bad at the same time.  If it goes bad, you lose lots of $ and data but if you buy several small ones, u wont lose as much as the big guy.

Please note that Pioneer does not officially support the use of SDXC cards in CDJ2000 / CDJ2000nexus players and is not responsible for, nor will they provide assistance in troubleshooting, errors encountered in playback when using them.

One of my 64giggers stopped being readable last week - by pc or 2000 (it has been wiped and reloaded lots and it was stuffed to capacity). I reformatted it and reloaded it and it's working fine again. That's the only issue I've had with any 16/64/128 gb SDXC cards in 6 months. Oh, very occasionally, maybe once in 10hrs on average a track jumps for a split second. This happens so rarely I cant recall if it's mostly on SDXC cards or memory sticks. It hasn't happened in a while and I haven't used memory sticks for a couple of months.
