CDJ2000 HID MODE

So i just want to know is there still a fix in the works for the CDJ2000 platter issues with SSL? If you dont know what im talking about the CDJ's will skip about half a beat at random. I seen a video on youtube about how to fix this issue which involves stretching the springs to be longer. I was just hoping the pioneer might provide replacement springs at the correct length instead of stretching the ones they come with. Both serato and Pioneer have said in the past its the other guys issue. But since that fix i seen on youtube clearly is working, it is obviously a Pioneer issue. Also Is there any more firmware updates coming out for the CDJ2000's. I am Very disappointed recently since playing regularly playing on a DJM2000 and finding out for some odd reason that the "on air" red leds dont function in HID mode..... Can that be fixed? Plus looping is f'n up all the time with the 4 beat auto loop (im sure thats a serato issue, already started a help request for it).

the serato HID jump issue was clearly owned up to by serato and they said they were fixing it, if it was a spring issue where the spings are a tiny bit too short and touch the platter sensors on heavy bass, then this would happen even when not using serato so i find that hard to believe that stretching the springs fixes this HID issue. Like I put in the other thread you commented on:

this is right from Sam from serato on 3/6/2012

We haven't forgotten about this. In order for these issues to be resolved and to be solid for the future, there is a large rewrite of existing code that needs to happen. Unfortunately this hasn't been a priority and therefore with the limited development resources we have, we have been unable to commit to this as of yet.

It will be fixed in the long run, but it's not the kind of fix that will be able to just be added into a small point release. It's a larger architectural issue that will take some time sorry.

As much as I would like to give you guys more information at this stage I can't sorry. We are aware of this problem though and are working to resolve it.

Let me know if you have further questions.

Sam.

and can you post the link to this video so we can see what you are talking about, I understand what you mean because I have stretched the springs a little to avoid scratching when trying to pitch bend, but this is all without serato in the mix
