Sounds a bit to me like you've got something funny going on with the aggregate device / the input/output configuration in Traktor. If you can post some screenshots, we can try and troubleshoot.
Hello I have just purchased the Traktor Audio 6 with scratch pro 2.
The plan was to connect my 1210 mk5 g through the sound card using the timecoded vinyl and then connecting my CDJ 900's via usb using the HID midi system. It doesn't matter what I have tried I can only get both CDJ's to play through one channel on my my DJM800. I have updated the firmware on the CDJ's to 4.1 and I have used both the aggregate patch from pioneer and manually set it up using the audio midi setup on the Mackbook pro. The really odd things is if I remove Deck b' pho cable from the mixer and doesn't make a difference to the sound it still play through deck A, depending on which aggregate process I have used it can work the other way around where its playing through Deck B on channel 2. So basically I can either play both decks through one another on channel 1 or channel 2 but I can seem to split them on the right channels. This doesn't appear to be anything to do with the phono cable setup more to do with what goes on in the software. When setting up the output routing on TSP2 I can use internal or external but the only options I have is cdj-900 2 or 3 so it appears 2 is left output and 3 is right output.
This is really bugging me as I was more than prepared to buy the Audio 10 but was told this was a better way to co with my cdj's as less messing about with cable and would save me money but so far I can get it too work.
I have also tried to unseal everything and re install and start again.
Please help!
Thanks
Gareth

Thank you for the reply but I think I have sorted it now, not set up exactly as explained but it works fine!
Great! Let us know if you have any other questions.
Hello.
Can you say me how you fixed the problem because I have the same one?
Thanks.
@Sebastian > Tell us about your setup and what you are trying to do. Post screenshots of your configurations etc please. The more info you can give us, the better we can help you.
I had the same issue earlier today, it seemed to have fixed itself after i updated the CDJs firmware from 4.10 to 4.11... but the wierd thing is ..is that it was working fine with firmware 4.10 when I first connected it, but they somehow went wonky.
I received 2 cdj 2000's & 1 djm 900 nexus on loan for a couple weeks, so it was my first time connecting.
My setup =
2 CDJ 2000's
1 DJM-900 NEXUS
1 Traktor x1
1 Trakto1 F1
1 USB HUB
1 Macbook Pro running Traktor 2.5
My aggregate device seemed to be doing funny things, like in the traktor preferences in output routing, there is usually 4 options for outputs, ie. Front Left, Front Right, PIONEER CDJ RACK(Output 2), PIONEER CDJ RACK (Output 3), but when it wasn't working it was really random, only Front Left & PIONEER CDJ RACK (Output 3) would show up.
I tried everything, restarting all the machines, reconnecting all the wires, changing some usb cables, making a new aggregate device, etc etc... nothing would fix it until i updated firmware, but the question still remains, why was it working fine in the first place, then it just went all wierd?
how can i prevent this from happening in the live setting?
I also noticed that if you unlug the usb cable from the PIONEER CDJ 2000 while traktor is open it crashes traktor.
is there anywhere online where there's a list about these little tips to know!?
If you have a DJM900nexus, I'd say forget about the aggregate and just use the 900's soundcard!
There's no list online, but the best thing you can do is to check the config of the rack before you open Traktor, then once you're in the software, ensure it's configured properly on the audio config for the decks for outputs to the right players (if not using the 900).
okay Pulse, so i have done exactly that.
I am running new macbook pro. traktor pro 2. nexus 900 with CDJ 900s. i have everything set up all the aggregates done and here is my situation.
If i choose to use the nexus 900 as my Audio device in traktor, then all my audio outputs come up and it looks like it would work fine -- only problem is the CDJ controls dont do anything in traktor.
If i choose my aggregated CDJ option as the Audio device in traktor, i can control all the parameters in traktor (ie start, cue, etc.) from the cdjs but then when i go to my audio ouputs all i see is "front left and front right".....
any ideas?
Have you updated to at least Traktor 2.5? They introduced Advanced HID mode for the CDJs in that release and you shouldn't have any control issues.
