CDJ 2000 + DJM 2000 Full Coffin Case?
I saw someone post somewhere that they had a Coffin Case that housed 2 CDJ 2000s and a DJM 2000 all in one case, anyone know where I can get one of these?

Oh wicked thanks!!!
NP, I am not sure how good that place is, but there are definitly Odyssey cases out there for ya
I got mine from Swanflight,
Customize here

I have a Prodjuser CDJ-20MKII Case , which I'm selling because I don't use it :/
+1 for Swanflight. Weight is 30kg all up including CDj2000's and DJM2000 (with 'flight panel' finish type). The connection/socket panel is VERY handy.
What is the connection/socket panel?
@ T-Top the connection panel sits at the back of the mixer in the case so you can run jumper leads between the mixer and the connection panel, meaning all of your cables are tucked away and setting up is easy because you just plug your power leads, xlr's and whatever else straight into the connection panel instead of having to muck around at the back of the mixer. See the third pic at Pionix's link above. Also uploaded a photo of my setup, which I've customised a little by drilling more holes (sorry about the dodgy photo quality).
Connections from left to right:
Channel 1 input (L+R RCA)
IEC socket Power input
Digital Master Output (haven't used this one yet)
Master Output #2 (RCA L+R)
Ethernet socket (Rekordbox)
USB B socket (for HID mode, USB hub inside case)
XLR Master out L channel
XLR Master out R channel
MIDI socket for effects BPM sync
(below MIDI) effects send/receive (4x RCA)

Oh wow that's impressive
I want it!
Thanks guys I think I'm gonna go with Swanflight :)
How is the fit on the swan flight case? Saw in this video that all cables might not fit?

@T-Top, I think the guy on youtube missed the point of the connection panel, he seems to think you're supposed to thread the cables through the holes rather than mount sockets and plug cables directly into the panel (as per photo in my last post).
It's probably worth mentioning if you're not confident/handy with a soldering iron and don't know anyone who might be able to help out, this may not be the best option for you.
Ah ok makes sense, so does that panel just connect with really small cables to the mixer then? / Does it come with those cables?
And I'm not the best with a soldering iron but I know lots of people who are good - but where does that come in?
(Big thanks for helping me understand this all by the way!)
@T-Top > No, it doesn't appear that those cables come with the unit but you can likely pick them up at an audio / computer store (some place like Maplin) or at Amazon
@T-Top, nope the case doesn't come with any cables however, as Gavin said, you can get them fairly cheaply. I would stick to at least 0.5m lengths, 30cm is a bit too short as you need to a bit of length when taking the panel off. Add a bit more for cables that need to go between mixer and CDJ's or from panel to CDJ's.
I've re-listed the connections below and added soldering info
No problems for the help, that's what a forum's for! I strongly recommend using a megameter and/or multimeter to check all cables and connections before use. All of this is at your own risk!
Channel 1 input (L+R RCA) - No soldering req'd, simple male-male connecters with nut/washer that fastens into the holes in the panel) http://www.jaycar.com.au/productView.asp?ID=PS0443
IEC socket Power input - Soldering required at connector end, need two figure-8 cables (decks) and IEC cable (mixer), cut to length and solder all wires to connecter, heat-shrink is a must - heat shrink each terminal, then another big one over the whole lot. Remember this is mains voltage. http://www.jaycar.com.au/productView.asp?ID=PP4174
Digital Master Output (haven't used this one yet) - No soldering, RCA again.
Master Output #2 (RCA L+R) - No soldering... more RCA's
Ethernet socket (Rekordbox) - No soldering but requires cat5 cable with male connector at one end, blank at the other, wires to be fed into connector and clamped down (pdf instructions on website) http://www.neutrik.com/en/ethercon/cat6/ne8fdy-c6-b
USB B socket (for HID mode, USB hub inside case) - No soldering req'd, USB-A to USB-B connector, reversible. Inside case use a USB A cable and USB Hub to plug mixer and CDJ's into http://www.neutrik.com/en/multimedia/usb/nausb-w-b
XLR Master out L channel - Need 3-core cable, one end soldered to connector, the other end to a female XLR connector to plug into mixer. This one's a bit tight to plug into the back of the mixer when inside the case so maybe see if you can use a right-angle female plug instead of straight. http://www.neutrik.com/en/xlr/xx-he-serie/nc3fxx-he and http://www.jaycar.com.au/productView.asp?ID=PS1015
XLR Master out R channel - as per L channel above
MIDI socket for effects BPM sync - Soldering required, need 6-core cable, one end soldered to female panel-mount MIDI connector + heatshrink, other end soldered to male MIDI connector. http://www.jaycar.com.au/productView.asp?ID=PS0348&form=CAT2&SUBCATID=990#1 and http://www.jaycar.com.au/productView.asp?ID=PP0305
(below MIDI) effects send/receive (4x RCA) - No soldering, just RCA's.
are you kidding me? i just took my old one, and customized it to fit.
Hey guys so back on this... I'm looking at alternatives to the Swan Case as I don't want to have to go through soldering...additional set-up... etc. Basically just want to be able to throw the decks and mixer in the case and play from there, but still be able to easily take everything out as well.
I've been looking at this one, but I'm not sure how snug it would be with the decks since it's made to fit any CDJs, although in the example picture they did use 2000's. Anyone else have any other recommendations?
[EDIT] Can't link to sites that sell DJ gear, sorry! [/EDIT]
@T-Top > I'd have to recommend buying individual cases. At least then if you change out some part of your gear the whole case doesn't become redundant. Also, two CDJs and a DJM2000 in an Odyssey flightcase? I hope you'll have a good orthopedist / chiropractor!
Road ready do a good 2000 coffin case, I have one
I have an individual case for the DJM 2000, the biiiig case would basically be for when I want to pop up the case and just have everything already cabled up, no effort required, and no effort required to pack it all up either lol
It has wheels on it so it shouldn't be too bad!
And sorry for the link, didn't know they sold DJ gear!
