Everything works fine until about every 20-30mins i get distortiion through the speakers and i need to go into "config" hit "apply" and "ok" and its fine again for another 20 or 30! Tried latency settings.un-installing re-installing the drivers.took out VDJ put it back in,turned off programs i dont need on the laptop as im only using it for one program VDJ. Head wrecking really cause evertyhing else works perfect!!!!! Any help greatly appreciated.....

Cheers Mate! I'll try this and get back onto you! Thanks a mill...
Back again! Turned it off auto and started on the the lowest setting, distorted thru 64 128 256 512 and 1024!! At the mo have it on 2048 and so far so good, playing with about an hr r so. Sound setup is at Inputs : none Outputs : Ext Mixer and Sound Card : Speakers (Pioneer cdj-350)
: Speakers ( 2-Pioneer cdj-350)
What is the computer hardware you're running VDJ on? Can you list out the hardware specs as well as the operating system version and bit-depth?
ACER
i7 8gb RAM 16BIT
Same problem again on 2048! So changed setup from 2 sound cards to Asio on VDJ. Started on the lowest latency setting on the Asio, kept getting sound dropout after 30-60secs on all latency till i got to 1920 it lasted about 20 mins before it dropped out,,
I'm going to assume Windows 7 / 64bit.
You should be able to get a lower latency than 2048; I would suggest giving the suggestions in this thread a try.
Oh ya sorry 64 bit operating system, windows 7
16 bit is the depth on the pioneer cdj asio setting utility
ill check that thread
