did you look in the mini for a brightness changer? If its not there, then you can't

Sorry, but what is the meaning of "mini" ? Is there an adjustable inside the device, a potentiometer on the print i can turn ? May be is there a secret menu when you press a special keyboard combination ?

He meant Menu. And no, there's nothing you can do to change the brightness, sorry.
