Cdj-900 is linked to recordbox but still not working

I have updated drivers and Firmware for recordbox. Recordbox shows it is linked  to cdj's but when I send a track to cdj-900 nothing happens. What gives?

Have you linked the decks to rekordbox by clicking the link button and selecting rekord box and have you set the decks to deck 1 and deck 2.
Start the software and press link. Then on the decks press the link button, press the jog dial to connect to rekordbox and you should be good to go.

The decks will not link to recordbox in order to select it...decks say not connected even thought rekordbox show it is linked.

Have you checked the cable connection to make sure they're firmly in place and tried different cables? Are you using windows or Mac OS?

On Win7 they should show up in device and printers on the control panel. Are they showing?

Forget about the control panel, I forgot mine are also conected by usb for midi with Traktor. The fact that they work on your laptop shows they're good so I'd be looking at the ethernet on the PC. Check it in the device manager and see if it there also download  any updated drivers for it. I'm assuming you're using the same hub and cables on the PC as you are for the laptop

1) Right-click on Network located in the Start Menu, and select Properties (If you are using the classic Start Menu, open Network Connections under Settings which can be found in the Start Menu.)

2) Click Manage network connections after Network Sharing Center is opened.

3) Right-click on Local Area Connection and select Properties.

4) Once Local Area Connection Properties is displayed, click on the Sharing tab and confirm that the "Allow other network users to connect through this computer's Internet connection" box under Internet Connection Sharing is unchecked.

Have you tried disabling the Windows firewall and see if they communicate?

Yeah I did all of that. I get my laptop back tomorrow night. I let someone use it not knowing this was going to happen with the desktop. I assure you that i will never loan it again.

How are you connecting the player and the computer -- direct or via some kind of networking hardware?
