This happened last nIght during a club gig. My set-up 2 CDj2000s & DJM400. Ethernet cable connects both CDJs. Use 2 64GB Sandisk USB flash drives....NO laptop! All music analyzed by Rekordbox then put on USB.
For the past six months everything works fine! scrollling playlists, searching songs. BUT since last night when I was searching for AWOL Nation. WAIT poped up and stayed there. Sometimes it's there for one or two seconds in the past, but this literally froze the CDJ! So I had to turn it off & turn back on. I disconnected the ethernet cable too...connected back on, the PLAYER 1 & 2 lit on, then hit LINK....and same frozen screen!!!??!!??
Today I tried again and the same thinig? Anyone else have this happen?
Im on ver 4.05......will 4.10 correct? (I know I should do it anyways!)

****UPDATE**** Firmware now 4.10. I tried another USB (32GB) and everything worked fine.
I'm going to erase everything off the 64GB USB's and reload and see if this works. Also running erroe checks & defragmenting (although I'm not sure its needed, if I erase everything off the usb?
definitely defrag after a big export, RB fragments the hell out of the files on export
@Jamaal > Please let us know if this happens again but yes, you should definitely be on 4.10. Are you sure there was no other 'junk' on the USB stick at the time, data that may have corrupted the stick?
