Hi all, I'm Dimitri and new to these forums!
I've been a music producer for the last 4 and a half years, always been interested in DJ'ing yet I've never really bothered. Although now I have and see what I've been missing, very fun stuff and as a music person it really brings me a massive amount of enjoyment. Friends and family who DJ etc etc
Anyways on to the point, I'm going to buy my own equipment now, what would it be like if I was to purchase CDJ 350's for home and small party use and then playing on CDJ 2000's in clubs etc etc... I've played on 200's, 400's, 1000's and 2000's. I have quite a network starting to build and I might be looking at playing a few big gigs in the not too distant future.
I really love the CDJ 1000's but I'm going to have to get over them as 2000's are the next big thing. What would the jog weight/sensitivity be like on the 2000's vs 350's?

Hi Dimitri, welcome to the forums.
The CDJ350 has a lighter jog than the 2000 or 1000 and because it has a different top (pressure sensitive vs. touch sensitive), you will feel a bit more springiness on the top.
Thanks for the reply pulse, I've tested out the 350's.
I was just curious as I have a jog sensitivity I'm used to and it becomes a pain in the ass getting used to a different jog :P One other question I have is:
Why is it that when I play on CDJ 1000's I set the jog adjust more over to heavy (around 2'oclock) and on the 2000's I find myself more comfortable around 10'oclock? Strange...
