CDJ 2000 Display Fault

Yesterday I switched on my CDJs and both switched on fine and worked.  After 5mins I had gone away from the decks to get something and when I came back one the displays on one deck had switched off but all the other buttons were still illuminated.  The track that was loaded would still play.  I was connected to rekordbox at the time with no other USB, CD or SD device connected to any of the units.  I switched the CDJ off and back on but the unit seem to boot up quicker than normal but still no display.  I thought I would try and update the firmware so pressed the USB and Reloop/Exit button while switching the player on.  This time I got the Pioneer logo on the unit appear but did take a bit longer but then the display would come on but was showing a communication error.  Please see both videos to hopefully explain a little further.  The units are only 6 months old.

Mate, I have just had the e-8709

After unplugging my USB stick without pressing USB stop.

The cdj 2000 was connected to another cdj 2000 with network cable and tracks where in the tag list...

My 2000's where bought in 2010 and come with a 4 year waranty... So ive contacted my seller and they where very happy to help and put me on contact Pioneer.

Pioneer have confermed the cdj is lost in information after i unplugging USB with
Out pressing stop....

I have to send it off for a service/factory restore as customers have no access to the main reset/utility options :(.

You blank screen issue hopefully is an easy fix here us the contact for pioneer I used

01755 789 789

You could try making sure all ribbon connections just under bottom silver casing are pushed in properly (be very carefully with clean dry hands) working gloves are a good idea...

All the best
