could it be that it's delayed because it's running from the mixer, into my audio interface, then into the monitors?
maybe I'll try plugging into the monitors direct from the mixer

[SOLVED] CDJ 350 latency
Hi, I just received a cdj 350 and djm 350 mixer USED from guitar center. The other cdj 350 should be here by next week.
After cueing up the first beat, I noticed that the CUE button (and play) is delayed, maybe 2-300 ms. I updated the firmware with no luck. I don't have any other CDJs here to compare it to but I seem to remember there being zero latency. Is there a way to adjust the latency within the CDJ? The manual didn't cover this and have had no luck googling. Thanks

that's definitely what it was. going direct from mixer to speakers and working perfect

yes, working great. problem was with the NI Komplete Audio 6. No direct monitoring of input channel 3/4 (so dumb) so the audio was going into the Komplete Audio 6, then into the laptop, then back to Komplete Audio 6, then out thru output 1/2, which caused a delay. Warning if considering this interface for studio/dj work
