I saw a thread on this , though don't look forward to it the CDJ-2000 is one of those high tech tools compared to the 1000MK3 , i have the mk3's at home and my residence has 2000's.

FolgenCan CDJ-2000 use SDcards created with CDJ-1000mk3?
Hi there,
I'm looking forward to a small gig that will provide CDJ-2000s. It'll be my first time playing on them... yay!
However, one question is coming up to me: I'm kind of a CDJ-1000mk3 "Veteran", if I can allow myself to say so. I've been using SDcards with those turntables for many many years. Will they be usable if inserted in a CDJ-2000? (I don't know which firmware it uses, I'll know the day I get to play at the gig...).
My CDJ-1000mk3s that created the SDcards's content is running firmware MAIN v.2.20, PLAYER v1.20, SUB v1.10.
The SDcards were created 99.9% from tracks on regular plain Audio CDs... a few from MP3 CD-RW CDs. Most of the content is saved waveforms, loops, hot cues (hmm, if not all... eheheh).

Yeah I'm wondering if there's any backward-compatibility.
Maybe Pulse knows? :)
Yeah, it should be compatible - unfortunately I just don't have my MK3 on me to test right now. Let me dig a little deeper and try to find out more.
