Cdj 900

I have a gig this weekend. I will 2 cdj 900s and mixer, I will be using traktor also with a x1 for controlling effects. Since my MacBook pro has 2 usbs and I need a USB for my x1. How can I got about connecting the 2 cdjs to one USB and my x1 to the other USB Please help

Is that the best way can't i use the uplink from one cdj to the other then USB from one player to my, this goin to be my first time using hid mode with traktor

nope, you have to have both usb in use,

Tanks BriChi. So setup will be 2 CDJS into a usb hub. create aggrate device, select the device i create in traktor, map output routing, select hid mode on cdjs

Off i go is this corect. DO i use Advance mode or standard mode

yup, sounds about right, I am not a Traktor user but that pretty much sums it up. Make sure you have the latest version of Traktor, I believe they just added "advanced HID" in it

is it best to get a powered usb hub or a non one will work fine since the players are powered anyways

personally I always like powered ones so you dont have to rely on the laptops usb power

External power is usually better than relying on bus power - this is applicable to portable harddrives as well as USB hubs.
