is your tracks analysed with rekordbox..?
Maybe I'm missing something, but I've tried everything I can think of but I cannot get the large waveforms to display on my CDJ 2000nexus's.
The small one at the bottom shows but not the large one.
Any idea?
By the way, the manual that comes with the units are a waste of space - they tell you absolutely nothing!

is your tracks analysed with rekordbox..?
I didn't realize they had to be-analyzed for the new data!
rekordbox is doing them now.
However, I have another problem;
One of my CDJs takes forever (not at all in fact) to load tracks even though they've been analyzed. The other CDJ has no problem, but for some reason, if I drag & drop a track to the CDJ, all I keep getting is "Now Loading", but it doesn't load!
I have to switch it off before I can use it again. I've tried connecting the LAN into different ports but that doesn't fix it.
Like I say, the other CDJ is fine. Maybe a faulty CDJ..?
Just got my 2 Nexus's yesterday so havent had alot of time to play with them yet.
this coukd be a software problem cant see the deck actually been faulty unless its the LAN communication side of things, is this happening with USB analysed tracks..?
Not tried a USB drive. Does seem like a software issue.
What's the solution for this?
I honestly dont know id wait for a pioneer admin to assit yeh sorry i cant really help anymore.
Well I closed rekordbox and re-opened it and that seems to have stopped the problem, for some strange reason...
Will see how I go.
Would be nice to have some feedback from a Pioneer admin regarding this issue just in case it happens again...
@S-Type > That sounds like a firewall / antivirus issue that was blocking Pioneer traffic. How have you everything setup? What hardware do you have?
I disabled my firewall but the problem still persisted.
I think while rekordbox was re-analyzing the tracks, may have caused the issue - there was nearly 5000!
After closing and re-opening rekordbox the CDJs worked fine.
I was facing the same problem, it drove me crazy!! You guys might throw out an announcement that you need to add the new music analysis information in the new recordbox to be able to see the waveform
It is in the documentation...
@Mike > We include it in the manual - we always document big updates like this.
hi i just got the 2 nexus and i didnt see anything about the main waveform ! Anyway so i have to install the new recordbox dvd that comes with the players in order to see waveform in the middle? because im using now recbox 2.0.1 Please Help cheers!
@DJtallo > If you are on rekordbox 2.0.1 you don't have to update any software. You will probably have noticed small icons that said "Analyse for Missing Data". If you the chose to analyse for that missing data, the waveforms should display without any problems on your players.
