@iconyx > I'm not familiar with the mixer but I can't see many issues why that wouldn't work - it'd just be a case of connecting all the units via USB to your laptop and assigning everything from there. I don't believe there would be any reason for an additional soundcard (as they are built in to the hardware you have).

FolgenIs this a feasible setup?
Hi,
I currently use a MacBook Pro with RekordBox, 2x CDJ 2000s, a Behringer NOX606 (all connected via Ethernet hub) & a pair of KRK 5s. However, I am looking to switch to USB & also to add Traktor & Traktor Controller X1 (to primarily use for its FX features, as i'd ideally still like to use my CDJs as Midi-Controllers) to my setup.
My 2 questions are:
Is this a possible setup? (MacBook Pro with Traktor, 2x CDJ 2000s, Behringer NOX606 mixer, X1 Kontroller)
Would I need an external soundcard with this setup? Bearing in mind I still want to continue using both CDJs running through different channels in my mixer?
Many Thanks in advance

yes this is a possible set up.. and no you wouldnt need a sound card with this set up... lol someone doesnt know the potential of their cdj's yet!
These babies can be usb'd to your mac and used with traktor as midi controllers, while using them as sound cards too... the only thing is they will be on the same channel, on your mixer, as cd's nothing there will change - if you was looking for a multiple output config?
connect each cdj to your mac via usb... use the audio/midi map to configure the soundcard side of things 'aggregate the devices' as one card using the app... the rest is done via HID mode on the cdj / traktor....
Thanks very much guys. @Matt Jackson cheers for the advice re mapping, that's something I will look at.
if you get stuck make sure you check out the various links on here about setting up the cdjs as sound cards with traktor - or direct on youtube!
its fairly straightforward - but if ya get stuck... ya know where we are ;o)
Top man Matt, no doubt I'll be pestering you again soon :)
