I'm not familiar with that exact product but it should work - I mean, you'll need a WiFi router if you intend to send audio from a mobile app to the players anyway.

Would this method work, having the "switch in the middle"
Basically having one 2000NXS ... then this product in the middle ... then the other 2000Nexus on the other side.
This would connect both together, but also have a WIRELESS WIFI router in the middle, would this method work for 2 x CDJS ... and would I be able to form an adhoc connection to atlased one of the units to then share the data via prolink
Cheers

What about MTP mode Gavin ?
I don't know - I'll have to find out.
I use the following:
http://netgear.com/business/products/switches/prosafe-plus-switches/GS105E.aspx
http://www.apple.com/airportexpress/
Works like magic. They are both small sized and close to no settings needs to be done (I would suggested changing the name, putting a password and not broadcasting the name for the wifi).
Otherwise they work great together. Plus router in first, power on switch after router has green light since it needs to assign IP addresses. U will plug it on port 5 (the one that appears to be by itself).
The reason I avoided using a full hardcore router is because of the following:
1. If your router goes down, you're screwed if music playing was on it.
Having a switch and router allows you to decide whether or not to go go wifi or simply not. Also you have the ability to move your router to another location (by running a cable from your switch to the router) if needed.
The equipment i listed are really small and even fit inside my mixer case with my Hitachi G Drive Mini drive.
Small, simple and secured in my opinion.
just the fact that it says
""""In case of network conflict, the Intelli+IP sensing technology will automatically change the travel router?s IP address to resolve the issue."""
I would avoid it, if it changes the IP address, the deck wlil temporarily disconnect and reconnect
Few typos:
U will plug it on port 5 (the one that appears to be by itself).
Router will plug it on port 5 of switch (the one that appears to be by itself).
I did few others typos but you can figure what I meant.
I also do this setup since the netgear model I listed next version has been tested by Pioneer, it is safe to go that route. I personally wouldn't f*ck with a router that doesn't have a solid reputation or at least used in businesses and has a great record on their switches.
And also what are the chances of your router failing?
I have an app on my phone that scans and tells me when there is wifi around (broadcasted or not). If I am a douchebag nerd, I can get on that router of yours with no problem (protected or not).
Your goal should be to move forward with new technologies but avoid as many risks as possible...I am just giving you a small risk assessment.
Cheers for the info Wolf, most informative, id looked at the Netgear unit, and I agree, its the best option for a switch!
Small, compact and an indusrty standard name, Ill prob get one.
Though ive just looked at the Apple Express port ...

Shame it doesnt have an option to Daisy chain ...
What im looking for is a micro switcher, with like an in and out, that will allow you to produce a wifi adhoc network
