Song auto play on deck load... lost cue point.

When I set my cue point on the first beat of a song in rekordbox, I can never get it to store. When I load a track it auto plays and the cue point is gone. I have to manually grab the first beat and reset the point on my deck. also when doing that it will a lot of the time jump to the last track played. A minor issue, but is there a way to 1. get the cue point to save? 2. have the track load and not auto play, just stop at the first beat I set? Thanks!

Yes, set the first cue point in rekordbox , hit memory to store it otherwise it won't save. Then, in the utility menu on the Cdj set the auto cue level to 'memory'. Job done...

Thanks bud, much appreciated. Another question, should the auto cue under settings be set to on as well?

@KidQuest > Are you referring to the auto-cue button on the player or the Auto-Cue Level settings in the Utility Menu on the player?

The auto-cue setting makes the song cue up at the start of the song. If it is left off, when you select a song, it just stays at 0.00 instead of trying to find the first beat (I believe)

With it on, it will try to find the first beat if you didn't set a cue, or jump to the first one you set.

Correct - you can set the Level the Auto-Cue will engage from - hence the range of sound options.

Sorry for not being clear. I am talking about auto cue in the utility menu.  Should that be on or off? I like to load my songs to the deck and have it just stop at the first cue point, instead of auto playing. For some reason it just wants to play automatically.

Auto cue should be on. Without it, it doesn't cue at the start, and just plays automatically. Auto cue makes it jump to the first cue, or if you didn't set a cue, I believe it will try to find the first beat on it's own, but still won't play.

Auto cue = automatically cuing the start of the song

@kidquest > Press and hold the Auto Cue button until a red Auto Cue bar is displayed on screen. Auto Cue is then on and it will cue at the start of the track.
