When browsing tracks on my NXS, for example searching by album, I see the album title more than once and each album has some of the songs on that album. This also occurs when I am searching by artist. In Rekordbox I only see the album/artist appear once when using the category filter. The album titles are spelled exactly the same in the cdjs, yet they appear multiple times. Its very annoying.

Also when searching by genre for example, The genre Dancehall wil appear as Dancehall, DanceHall, dancehall. Though, in rekordbox it only says Dancehall. When I first imported my tracks into Rekordbox some of the tracks had Dancehall, DanceHall, dancehall under its genres but I made sure to fix all of them in Rekorbox before exporting them to my HD.
If it's a compilation album then you need to set the album artist as various artists. On the NXS you will then only see only one album with all of it's tracks listed against it.
I have a lot of compilation albums about 95% of my collection. Changing the album artist various would make it difficult for me to navigate the drive, I browse by album->artist. There has to be another way to fix this. Going that route is basically making your hd less organized so it looks organized. Also not all my albums do this and most of them are compilations.
No, I didn't mean that. In each track just change the 'album artist' internal mp3 tag.
