Has anyone dealt with a problem like this? I've seen it in other forum posts but I would like to know if anybody had fixed it themselves?
The platter seems to be off track. I have the weight to the lightest setting and it is very tough to spin and due to it being off track it seems as if the sensor has been messed up too. When you touch it in certain places and let go, it doesn't immediately play. The braking/resume are set to instantly play as well.

if it's in warranty, Have it fixed by an authorized repair shop, If its not, there are videos on youtube on taking these apart, its pretty easy to get the platter on track if you pretty handy taking things apart and re-assembling
I've tried to find videos on it but the only disassembly videos are ones to fix the pitch bend problem on the platters. It doesn't show how to pop it back into place. If you could find a link that would be great.
cant post links but look at those videos, it shows how they take the platter off the track to get to part to fix the pitch bend, the pitch bend part is useless to you but you will at least see how the platter works and the rail system. just youtube cdj-2000 platter fix
