@Josh > The CDJ-350 has 4 different tempo ranges, just like the CDJ-900:
+/-6, +/-10, +/-16 and WIDE.
All in the title really...
Got cdj350's at home just to make mixes on, but not sure they are good enough for my needs. I do a lot of messing around with tempo, just having it on zero and flicking up little echoed noises over the other track and winding a track down really slow and then mixing in with some really weird dub or something. I like confusing my audience basically. I've played with a lot of 900s/ 2000's in clubs but can't remember if the tempo went all the way down using usb's. I usually use cds in clubs anyway...But yeah.
Just annoying when I'm playing off USB, trying to do some big plan, and can only go -/+16 and not do what I wanted.
Just checking if you can go all the way with the 900's, so then I will know to upgrade or not.
Also, does the sound quality differ between cdj's or does that just depend on the mixer used? I only have a djm400 at home for now, which needs to go as soon as possible. It's a great mixer for people starting out however, but just not for me anymore. It reminds me of being 15 again. I'm probably going to go all 900, but if the cdj tempo thing is the same then I might spend my money on some other gear. The mixer is the most important change really, I can always use cd's for the tempo thing.
If anyone could let me know anyway, that'd be great.
Cheers

Thanks Gavin, I know this. But the WIDE option only works using CD's, not with tracks off a USB stick. Does the 900 work with both?
Yes, you can use all tempo ranges on the 900 - including WIDE (just checked on USB source to be sure).
Great OK, thanks very much for your help. Appreciate it.
You're welcome!
