Before the last update SYNC was IMO doing a pretty good job, now it's garbage! I sit there and watch the bars move slightly off and not syncing. Am I the only one who has an issue here? I almost posted a week ago but thought i would spend more time with it but today I have had enough to where I must voice my issue.
I hear the songs and I look down to see if maybe one of the SYNC lights is flashing, maybe I messed it up spinning the jog wheel at an earlier time. Nope, both SYNC lights are solid.
Been setting end loops as well and also must ask Pioneer to allow us to set on the fly, this crap of disco the cord to adjust in RB is getting old. But the SYNC is my concern right now.
Anyone else having SYNC issues so bad a deaf man could tell?

I stopped using Sync about a month ago as the feature does not work properly. Never really has done to be honest regardless of Firmware updates.
Id always have to move the jogwheel a little bit to match the beats in sync... Or the track would jump the the next grid when i first pressed play these or just 2 of many problems in my opinion. Haven't pressed that Sync button in a looong while now..
Justin you're definitely not alone on this one. I think anyone who's spent more than 10 mins with either Traktor or Serato could tell you RB sync is erratic and unreliable. I'm still hopeful this gets refined in future updates, as it really opens a lot of doors in creative mixing.
im not sure who beta tests but... when i spent all this cash on the equipment i didnt know i was a tester of sorts. where do i buy a pioneer cdj that works 100% lol
Its Rekordbox that's the guilty party not the players IMO.
I actually found it was working better following the last updates but then a few less than standard tracks left me less than impressed again. Pioneer are missing a track with perfectly sync'd players I'd consider another deck to really get creative but at the moment there's no point.
I USE THE SYNC FEATURE AND FIND THAT IT IS NOT A TRUE SYNC LIKE TRAKTOR... I AM ALWAYS ADJUSTING THE JOG WHEELS TO KEEP IT PERFECTLY ON TIME. I DON'T BEAT GRID MY MUSIC. (TOO MUCH MUSIC TO DO) BUT I NEVER BEAT GRID IT IN TRAKTOR EITHER.. TRAKTOR'S SYNC FEATURE IS BETTER IMO BECAUSE THE MUSIC IS PROBABLY BETTER ANALYZED. ALTHOUGH I HAVE HAD TUNES RUN OFF IN TRAKTOR AS WELL. I DON'T MIND A TWEEKING OF THE JOG WHEEL FROM TIME TO TIME. BUT I ONLY HAVE 2 CDJ'S NOT 3 OF 4. THAT IS WHEN I WOULD NEED THE SYNC TO BE SPOT ON. I THINK PIONEER AND MIX VIBES SHOULD JUST CREATE A WHOLE NEW VERSION OF RB THAT IS COMPATIBLE WITH THESE PLAYERS. INSTEAD OF CHASING THERE TAILS WITH THIS ONE. AND US HAVING ALL THE HEADACHE'S .

yes we will agree to disagree and the Pioneer mods will also tell you to stop posting in caps lock as soon as they read your posts just so you know, Also a lot of people will agree that users willing to help others with issues tend to skip over the all caps posts because it's annoying. I have spent many years on forums helping people out, many people on this forum alone with tell you the same about me and trust me, Most people skip the all caps posts

You probably don't remember me... But we had lots of good times busting the Denon mods because we couldn't say "BOO" over on that forum about the Denon gear without getting banned. LOL 5 different logins later I finally had enough of those fools over there... I still love my 3700's and DN-X1700 mixer... But those mods are fools over there. Silvio is the only one worth listening too over there. Seems like poor Gavin is all alone over here... He must be bald with all the bitching we do hahaha...
hahahahaaaaa, Yes I do remember Pete, That place is a disaster over there and i too have said that to Silvio 1000 times that he is the only good rep Denon has over there, they are lucky to have to him. It's hard to tell a lot if it's the same person from forum to forum based on just username. Fortunately i have been able to use mine throughout all being its my first and last name letters so who the hell would want that same name, lol

Gavin, any more to add on the whole sync - beat grid accuracy issues?
I honestly thought we'd turned a corner with the previous fw releases however it really seems temperamental as my early testing seemed to be okay but a recent session and it was not fit for purpose.
I do still hold that the root of the issue is RB so I'd love to hear a v3 is due ....
I said previously the whole benefit of sync will be a massive boon to pioneer as guys will start to abandon the traditional 2 deck set up and invest in more decks to get really creative - I'd love to go to another deck but right now it would be pointless
