[SOLVED] Strange CDJ 2000 behavior using Rekordbox & Needle lock?

I transferred some music onto a usb stick using Rekordbox. The issue I'm having is when I play off my USB stick on my Decks, there seems to be no space between each track, for some reason. This seems to be fooling my CDJs (or maybe it's the other way around). One issue is then I try to back cue in the beginning of the track using the platter (scratching motion), when I release the platter to initiate play, the track stops/does not play. I have to hit the play button to make it play or be super careful not to back it up too far (into the ending of the prior track).

Long story short, when you're using a Rekordbox drive, how do you adjust the settings that can rectify my issue (i.e. space between tracks, start/stop etc) I'm not sure whether is something I need to do in RB or on the CDJs.

Thanks

P.S. I'll try to look it up. But, any advice on how to disable "needle lock" and why there is such a setting would be cool too.

yes, this is an issue reported to hopefully get updated, When you spin back you have no buffer at all to scratch on the first beat, it stinks

for now as a workaround so it doesnt stop at least, you can turn of AUTO CUE this way if you spin back to far at least the track won't stop, This will not prevent you from going to the previous track though, Only the Nexus 2000 has the feature to use "SINGLE" mode to prevent that BUT you still have no room to scratch on the first beat

I have the Nexus in which case it does not go to previous track, but you can see in my video how bad it can be

WOW!!! I'm stunned, because Rekordbox was the reason I got these decks. I wanted to be compatible with the clubs in the Area and not be force to bring my laptop everywhere I go. Now I feel stupid. I was so close to buying turntables instead.
