Hello everyone.
I've got 2 units of cdj 850. I'm happy with them since more than 2 years.
I've used them with my old laptop and it work right.
With my new pc I'm not able to use midi. The soundcards are properly installed and I can use the cdj 850 as separated output.
I think the problem could be in the usb ports. My new laptop has USB 3.0 ports. I also had problems with AUDIO2DJ from NI with this ports.
Information:
Updated FIRMWARE
Updated DRIVER
Updated TRAKTOR
I need some help about this. I read that a usb 2.0 HUB could solve this issue.
I test one last night and I have not solved it. I'm not sure that the HUB I used is OK. Today I will buy a brand new HUB and I will comment the results.
Could some one from PIONEER give us an answer about this?

I am trying to use my 2 cdj 850k as midi controller on my windows 8 laptop (intel i5) It worked fine on my macbook but i have just sold it. I have the latest firmware. Drivers and mapping all from your website. The issue is Traktor is not responding to the cdj's. Audio setup is working fine..

This is just the problem.
I've used a midi monitor and i can confirm that no midi messages between CDJ and PC.
My xone 4d works right and I can see messages with the midi monitor, so... I think the problem is with the driver of the CDJ and usb3.0.

What kind of USB hub did you place between the CDJ and the laptop?
I've used a powered usb 2.0 hub, with power supply.
I made all of the steps of the guide.

yes, I can use the same Hub without the power supply.
And still no joy?
Have you tried updating the drivers of the USB slots themselves from the manufacturer?
I've have a Dell Inspiron 15R SE.
Don't know if there are new USB drivers... I will check it today. In few hours I will write the results.
I remember, some time ago, I had a problem with audio2dj from NI. Now NI have developed new drivers for usb3.0.
There are not good news. I've updated my usb drivers from Dell.com and no news.
Soundcard is OK, no MIDI
well, I'm very dissapointed with pioneer support. It's really annoying. I've send them the issue by the contact form form the website and also no answer.
Well, I've used a cdj900 and everything goes well with HID mode and Traktor, so there is something wrong in the driver with midi and usb 3.0.
I hope we could get an answer soon.
In their website the cdj850 is marked include HID mode, and I really can't realise about it. In the UTILITY menu there is not any option about HID mode.
In the UTILITY menu of cdj900 I can select HID mode.
Please, I need help with this.
