[SOLVED] E-8307 on CDJ2000 Nexus

English:

I have a major problem, see if you can help me.

I have a hard disk 1TB WD My passport, MAC formatted as FAT, and I have added my playlists from both Mac and Windows XP without any kind of problem (in both systems I see all views in rekordbox). The problem is that when connecting to Nexus CDJ2000 e8307 gives me the error "Media is write protected> Remove write protection". All I can say is that to access the folder properties "contents" and "pioneer" both read-only I get in windows, and even remove them as "read only", he just put back, and not know if the error is so or not. Can you help? Any solution? Should I change the hard drive? thank you very much

Someone already had the same problem but no solution found, go despair. Thank you.

¿Alguna solucion? ¿Debo cambiar el disco duro? Muchas gracias

@Hector > If you connect the drive to either laptop, can you navigate the contents in both? Can I ask why you are using two laptops?

Can you use this utility to fully format the driver again: http://files.extremeoverclocking.com/file.php?f=197

(Please note it will fully erase anything on the drive).

Does the drive require power from the CDJ or cannot also be connected up via AC power?

at the end I opted for the solution of buying a usb flash drive that works properly, and I was not able to fix the issue with the hard drive. I formatted it several times and the error persisted. From point a usb flash operation is perfect, not a single problem.

Thanks for the interest, and a greeting.
