[SOLVED] anyone have a "cdj 2000 nexus midi value cheat sheet"

meaning does anyone have a picture with the cc values for the cdj2000 nexus labeled on it? is there such a thing? i'm hoping i can use these awsome decks as control surfaces for my visuals program via simple midi mapping and routing, since i read these are midi machines i am confused by the lack of available information regarding using them as midi devices. can i even use these as midi controls for other programs WHILE i mix tracks? i know i can use my midi controller to mix tracks in traktor and partially control my visuals program, with a second midi controller mapped totally to my visuals program all running on one computer but these decks seem like a way to take my comp out of the music aspect to focus just on the visuals and thusly not have to worry about the raid issue that seems to crash my audio card when running both programs together... nothing worse then the audio crashing during a set. so i figure if these r here and ARE midi as they say they are, how do i manage to make it so they can and do control aspects of my visuals(like maybe use them to scratch video clips for example)?

anyone have any info on this?

i found this thread that seemed o point however i think the other people responding to the OP didn't understand what he was saying or meaning or maybe i took it as he was thinking what i'm thinking(i could be wrong it's happened before) and sadly it's been locked so i can't ask for more clarity

has anyone had sucsess using the cdj's to control other programs while they mix tracks? what's the steps u used if so?

p.s. i have no interest in serato video sl. it's boring and lame from what experience i have with it. in fact i hated that night of visuals work being stuck with the limitedness of serato's video sl plug. i don't think the program i use should make a difference to the yes or no of if this can be used as a midi controller(and i hate sharing my trade secrets) however my os might make a difference as i know so in case it might make a difference i'm using osx 10.5.8(i hate to update, i always loose programs due to not remembering where i keep my keys and having lost acsess to email accounts over the years...)

thank you Gavin, I'll look into that, i suppose i would need to grab a program like "midi pipe" aswell then eh?

i was kind of hoping i could just have a simple way to utilize the midi signals from the decks, to use for controlling other proscesse's, sad i have to actually install outside programs in order to use them(lord knows i have enough programs i barely ever use on this poor laptop, but if i must add another then i must add another. thanks for the info my man, from what i've seen around here your a great resource of info and assistance, i apreciate!
