Maybe it is because quantise is active on the rekordbox analysed tracks? Try turning quantise off in the Cdj menu and see what happens...
Why is it that when I use rekordbox either directly to play or export my tracks from rekordbox to usb the response on the cdj2000's are slower?
If I put the track directly on a usb and not through rekordbox the response on the cdj2000's are instant.
the only way I can explain it is by doing a trick, if you drag your finger quickly across loop in and loop out and press start with the vinyl brake on maximum does a little trick but not while using rekordbox or rekordbox exported tracks?

the response time when you first start playing from a usb drive is defintely faster then using RB linked. I have mentioned this when i first bought the decks. Loading of hot cues and memory points happens faster when using my usb drive that's what turned me more towards using it 100% and stop using the laptop linked.
Now with the Nexus ones though, the usb end of things is buggy so I am forced to use the laptop until they fix it all
The OP is playing both files off USB brichi, one RB analysed and one not. He's doing a loop trick that doesn't work the same with both files and I suspect that is because the RB track is quantising the looping.
gotcha, I though when he said "playing them directly from rb" he meant he was linked playing the tracks on the CDJ through RB on the laptop
thanks guys will try this and see if the response time is any better, has this never been logged before with the pioneer engineers as a bug? take it if you want to use quantize then you would not be able to do quick response tricks?
it is because quantize is turned on that there is a delay in response time on the cdj's is this normal?
yes because when quantize is on it will trigger anything you do to the beat grid so it's not like so you can hit ABC 10 times between beats but it will only trigger the cue once on beat. If you like to stutter cues quick then leave quantize off
@Gareth > Its not a bug. If you have Quantize engaged and press the hot cue, its going to wait until the next beat before it engages - thats what Quantize is. Turning Quantize off, you can engage the hot cue wherever you want - it doesn't necessarily have to be on-beat.
@Gavin & @Brichi- many thanks after the comments realised that how quantise works, many thanks guys for the response and helping me understand
@Gareth > You're more than welcome.
