@Todd > I understand what you are aiming for but adding too many 'safety' features like this becomes confusing and could result in being a greater hindrance in manipulating the deck than actually getting it to do what you want it to do instantly. Thanks for your feedback but I don't believe this idea would be pursued.

Folgen[SOLVED] Reloop/Exit accidental double-tap safety
Greetings,
I would like to request an option for the CDJ-lines that have the Reloop/Exit function (namely, CDJ-2000).
During a gig, or playing at home, when I want to Exit a loop, I have accidentally "double-tapped" the Reloop/Exit button, instead of just pressing it once. This resulted in the loop being played again, but with off-beat timing. In the middle of a mix, this is a disaster.
A number of factors come into play to have this happen which include: shaky fingers, awkward placement of the CDJ, etc.
It would be great to have an option on the CDJ to have a 1-second, un-interruptable gap between presses of the Reloop/Exit button. It would also be great to have this option available in Rekordbox's My Settings section. This way, users can choose to use the current workflow of Reloop/Exit or the "safety" version of Reloop/Exit.
Of course, any other ideas to prevent these accidents are much appreciated.
Thanks very much.

@Gavin > Thanks very much for your reply. I was thinking that this post got buried!
It's unfortunate that this safety measure may not be implemented. I do understand from your point of view that it might cause confusion to users. Would it help if this safety-setting be changed only within the long-press Menu settings list on the CDJ or through Rekordbox's My Settings only?
Again, thanks for your reply, Gavin.
@Todd > Not at all - we read each and every post here.
There comes a point where we have to make a decision where we warrant if an idea should be submitted to the engineers for inclusion. At this point, you're the only person I've ever heard requesting this feature. It would seem almost pointless implementing one 'safety' feature when there's so much else that could also go wrong (pressing wrong buttons on other parts of the deck etc).
@Gavin > Yes, I do understand the need to balance needed to allocate engineer-time to the important bits.
Thanks for your reply, in any case!
