[CLOSED] cdj 2000nxs rekordbox link problem

i hooked up 2 cdj 2000nxs with a djm 900nxs and a net gear 5 port switch. connected my macbook pro and attempted to play. the link would show up and so would the cdjs. sometimes the songs would play throughout but mostly the song would play and then go into an emergency loop. the other problem would be that songs would say loading and take 2-3 mins to load then ultimatley the song would play then go into emergency loop. i did not have the firewall on and am running osx 10.7.5

@Solomon > Please ensure you have updated the firmware on your CDJs to the latest available as well as updating rekordbox software.

Please also ensure you have disabled or allowed Pioneer traffic through any firewalls or anti-virus you may have installed.

Further, please close any background apps running on your laptop including the wireless connection.

You may also want to check your cables - establish a direct connection to your computer from the CDJ without the use of a network switch.

at the time i was running the latest firmware and rekordbox. i will test the cables out tnite. when i linked the players directly and used a usb the tracks loaded fine and never went into emergency loop. so at least one cable was fine. also i didnt have a firewall running but did have anti virus running.

@Solomon > You may need to disable the anti-virus and your WiFi if its running.

i did disable wifi. ill be doing a soundcheck later. so ill try all the things you suggested.
