[SOLVED] Make songs start on 1st cue from RekordBox?

I'm using CDJ 2000 Nexuses, and have been wondering this for a while but never got around to asking it.

Right now, I have auto cue on, and I believe it works as intended (it will stop at the start of a song, near the very beginning)

The thing is - it starts at whatever it thinks the first beat is, rather than the 1st cue point I set in rekordbox.

Is there a way to make songs automatically start on the 1st cue I have set?

@T-Top > Rather than setting a db level to auto-cue at (in the CDJ settings) can you choose the MEMORY option? This will load the cue you set in rekordbox.

That makes so much sense but since the option was a number it never even occurred to me to look at it!

Thank you guys! This will change my life!

ok cool, so in RB if you want to set you're first cut point manually instead of having the Nexus auto cue,

  1. Load a track into RB, go to where in the track you want a cue and set it, then press memory all the way to the right where you have 10 memory slots. Now memory slot 1 is set

  2. On the Nexus deck go into the menu, scroll down to auto cue and choose "memory" and back out to save

now when you load that track into the nexus it will jump to the first memory point you set

@BriChi > Cristal Clear that explanation :) .  I will try that when I get home tonight and I will let you know how it went, thank you!  I do have the cues set on the songs in rekoordBox and they are saved (memory bank) but I do not have the CD player's Auto Cue set to Memory.  Thanks again this is great.

I don't know if you can do this on the 2000mk1. Someone else may have to verify. Look in the 2000 menu, if it's there, great!
