Hey guys. I hope I can explain this correctly for some help? So you know how some of us tap on the "cue" button on beat to mix. The when we are ready to mix the song in we hold the "cue" button down (in time of course) then press the play button while holding the cue button still to transfer from cue to play mode. (Hope that makes sense?) LOL Well when I do that sometime my track jumps fwd and is off beat. Tracks are all analyzed in normal mode not dynamic in RB. The players are linked to the DJM 2000 Nexus as the master sync. The work around is putting the CDJ in vinyl mode and just throwing it in normally. Is this a RB issue or CDJ issue??? Or is it a sync issue? Thanks guys.... BTW... It don't happen with all my tracks... Just some.

You've already stated in other posts that you don't adjust your beat grids after analysis. I suspect that this is your problem. You're trying to use features that require a precisely set grid, in this case the quantised play button.
If you turn off the quantise button I bet this also fixes the problem. This is also why your loops drift, you HAVE to set the beatgrids properly to use some nexus features.
Thanks. I will work around it. Never happened with Traktor setting the beat grid. It shouldn't happen with RB. But thanks for the heads up. IMO RB needs to to a better job of analyzing the music.
you're right pete, rekordbox is currently a long way behind traktor with it's raw analysis - it's far from perfect. if you're on a mac then i'd really recommend using rekord buddy, it's $5 app that transfers your beatgrid data from traktor to rekordbox - so you can allow traktor to do the (near perfect) beatgridding for you.
Right on - I was experiencing the same thing; disabling either quantise or sync will do the trick. I can't recall which but this was addressed in either a FW or RB update at some point - I haven't had the issue since.

hi i am having other problems. i made some hot cues i rekordbox. when i push rec/call button and load one of my hotcues it starts automaticly to play from that hot cue. can i start it myself from that hot cue?
@Karin > That's the function of the button. If you want to store the hot cue as a main cue, hold the platter, press the hot cue button, then press the main cue button.
