FolgenCannot Get CDJ 2000 Nexus To Connect To Tablet Via USB
Anyone have a droid tablet that actually CAN be used over USB to connect to a Nexus?
I have a Galaxy Tab 2 10" and it ONLY works over WiFi which I cannot use with my setup, nor do I trust it. Has anyone found a tablet that can be used with a usb cable other then an Apple device?
Thanks

yeah, I read by Gavin that none of the "Note" tabs can so i went witht eh Galaxy and it seems no matter what I plug the Galaxy into I get an "X" at the battery indicating it's not enough power unless i use the plug it came with, but using that plug takes up the sae port I need to connect for the CDJ so it cannot be done, This whole RB tablet thing is so frustrating. ALl i want to do is have my iPad search a drive plugged into the CDJ like the AERO and R1 can and it would eliminate me having to jump through hoops and spend a fortune testing other ways
I'd encourage nexus users experiencing issues with RB to try the wifi connection to tablet. It's one of the few things I've not had any problems with and many of the issues I'm experiencing with SD/USB I don't experience via wifi. I know it's not scientific but it's the only thing that's helped me keep the laptop out of the booth. My theory is that a lot of beta was dedicated to the wifi connection since it was a big selling point for the decks and perhaps the legacy media types went by the wayside during testing since they're relatively tried and true. Again, just a theory but its been my saving grace thus far...
the issue I personally have with the WiFi thing is I use "LINE6" mics which operate on the same 2.4ghz wifi and it knocks the tablet off the wifi when I turn the mic on, not good, I certainly am not going to buy a whole new mic system because of this either
At300 works aslong as the Android is in MTP mode, I brought a Samsung, and found that there was something in the setup with Samsung verison of JellyBean that was causing problems.
The Toshiba had less manufactor firmware on it and seems to work ok, though doesnt charge
this whole project I am trying is a fail, sucks. there is really no successful way with a large library to get this to work except over wifi which is stinks. Oh well
If anyone has any good ideas i'd love to hear them
so far my only option is getting a 128gb iPad and getting 70% of my music on it, but thats a $800 investment which i am not ready to make, especially since all we need is the RB app to read an external already plugged into a deck like the controllers can do. This has been such a big reason for me to switch over yet such a big let down at the same time
I couldnt echo your thoughts and semiment more Bri
I thought ud get the SD Card working in my Toshiba - but I gave up 3 months ago as it was just too slow.
"This has been such a big reason for me to switch over yet such a big let down at the same time! " - bang on
I mean when the the Aero and others can control info on a HD via remote on Ipad - it beggers believe that Pioneer have not sorted this !!!
The Iphone app has been updated today, ill have a look at Andriod later this afternoon
