[SOLVED] CDJ2000 nexus - beat grid gone on some tracks

Hi people...  need help. I have had nexus for some time now, always latest drivers software etc. Recently I have upgraded computer and now have intermittent beat grids or none on some tracks. seems random as to if it will work or not. If I re-analyse the track on the fly and re-load it works...  most of the time. Reboot and load up at next gig and gone again. All data paths look correct, but obviously there is a box I have ticked or un ticked somewhere. The tracks play flawlessly and no issues anywhere else.  Just the beat grid..!!! The beat sync counter works fine, the bpm shows, the times and display works perfectly in every other way.   The beat grid is present while using rekord box player... so they are there, just not getting to the player...!!!   before anyone says network hardware etc,  it worked perfectly on last computer which for the record is the same brand and type, just bigger. The network card is a USB type.  I have tried re-analysing, new cables, different router etc...  nothing works...    help... :)

this usually happens when switching computers if the naming is different because it will screw with where the computer "thinks" the wave data should be

for example if your last computer was DJ CHRISP and the new one is DJ CHRIS P then the waves will not make the connection to the file

you can also try changing the analysis folder in the RB settings to new folder which located

pc: win7 : C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Roaming\Pioneer\rekordbox

mac : /Users/yourusername/Library/Pioneer/rekordbox

Yeah onto that one.. checked and triple checked...  however i did have to change things in this area to match when updatng to new hardware. . So I think your on the right track. All the file paths are correct and match. but still int beat grid. mmmm

After re-analysing (all files), I try a bunch of tracks and no problem..  then i come across a bunch that show no beat grid. so weird. again if I re-analyse those tracks individually on the fly.. they work...  !!!    I can understand if it either worked or didnt but I cant understand why some do and some dont.... is it file properties...?  is my data file currupt..?

Could be that you hadn't analysed the tracks in the current version of rekordbox even though they've been in your collection for a while.
