[SOLVED] CDJ 850 Traktor(PC) switching to USB problem

Hello

I have two CDJ 850 connected to PC with Traktor 2.6.6. Everything work well. (Latest firmware, drivers and map)

Switching from PC to CD works well.

But when I switch music source to USB, Traktor have a problem:

- cutting off connection, and stop playing the music.

Do you have any solution for this problem?

@Rafal > I'm sorry, I don't understand what the problem is. If you are switching music sources then the music will stop...

Example:

I'm playing music from traktor, first CDJ controls deck A, second deck B in a traktor and this works well.

But i have music in USB stick also. When i want to swich source in a fly from traktor (PC connected) to USB stick (connected to CDJ) system shows error and traktor are switching off.

@Rafal > Thats normal. The CDJ needs to 'disconnect' its soundcard from the laptop and switch over to the USB source. There's no other method around this - this has always been the way it is.

Ok I understand, but in CDJ 2000 I can swich in a fly between PC, USB and CD without any problems.

I thought that in CDJ 850 it works similar.

@Rafal > Likely a result of the differing hardware in the CDJs. I'm sorry I don't have a better solution for you.
