"I just met my new girlfriend, but here are the things I'm looking to improve in her for my next girlfriend."
Pioneer please is it possible to tell your people to implement these features I have emailed you since 2011 about. I noticed serato ran with my idea with serato flip and other companies are eventually gonna implement features like these so might as well be you right?
Quantize needle jump feature allowing users to jump to the nearest first down beat anywhere in the track on the fly by utilizing the needle strip also the user can utilize the cue point feature to jump to any cue point while the track is playing and will stay in beat. The user could also set up markers so when the track hits a certain marker it could jump to different parts of the track instantly and on beat.
Allow freeze mode that would allow you to record your remix to play back anytime. (I know sounds like serato flip right? I told pioneer this since 2011)
Allow more hot cues why does a 800-900$ midi controller have more hot cues that a 6000$ system? This should have been implemented with the cdj 2000 nexus!
Allow the hot cue buttons to switch to sample mode which would allow mobile djs to sample tracks such as songs or dj drops so when they go to a gig it already set up.
Allow more wave form colors to choose from so the user can fully customize there cdj/xdjs such as electric blue, red, green, yellow, orange, purple, pink ect. The user can customize tracks so when the system detects a break down or acapella for example the use can customize a different color to it.
A feature I have been asking since the 2000 nexus is to have the cdjs allow analyzing files on its own with out a laptop needed. Customize your tracks add hot cues, beat grids, cue points and export the information and settings on to a usb via the system itself. I understand a laptop is very powerful but the cdj had prices suggested at $2499 and retail for $1999 each.
I know I have posted many times regarding this but since I don't have the funds to make my own cdjs or xdjs I rely heavy on companies like pioneer so I can only hope one day this gets notice.

Too funny! I am actually doubled over!!
LOL Pulse
Sounds good, Pioneer welcomes suggestions for it's constant improvement in the DJ market. All thoughts and comments will be forwarded to the appropriate staffing and future changes and improvements will reveal themselves at that time. Thank you again and this thread is now closed.....
Hey Jay just curios to see if you where able to forward the information provided from me regarding the feature requests and if there was any feedback. Thanks for your help and time.
@pulse....you missed the point these are features I emailed Davey dave and others higher ups since 2011 just making sure it gets some feedback.
I don't have any feedback on whether or not any of your suggestions are/were implemented or will be implemented, but they have been noted. There was no point missed, I was just trying to add a light of comedy. ;)
When you get a chance if you can let the right people know regarding the quantize needle jump feature I mentioned and the quantize cue jump aswell. Also allowing hot cue banks to layer over the existing track that is already playing would be awesome so essentially djs could layer one hot cue at a time over the existing track which could open some creative live remixing . Thanks again.
Unfortunately audio layering is not supported as the hot cues are not samplers, but rather retain engagement of the performance features of the CDJ (eg. scratch, pitch, loop) as the audio playback position changes. Such a feature request would require additional controls, level adjustments, etc., which would not integrate into the traditional CDJ operation / design. Perhaps in future models!
