How did you manage to install the update differently? Sounds like the panel cpu might of gone faulty. I would send it back to pioneer.

[CLOSED] CDJ-2000 E-7022 panel error
Hi. Few days ago my CDJ-2000 flashed on the screen E-7022 error. I managed to reinstall all drivers by some different style than pioneer say because it's not working (usb+reloop and power on sequence). After that CDJ works normally but after 2 days I've got this same error on the screen. Anyone knows what may cause this error and how I can fix it?

Hi. Official method for updating firmware is "USB+reloop/exit" and "power ON button. But in my case it's not working. I find out that holding "USB stop" while I turn on the player gets me to the updating mode. I done it few times but always end this same. I have sent message to pioneer service point and I'm waiting for reply from them.

I opened up my CDJ and reconnected flat flex cables around display. Now things are getting very interesting. Before I opened CDJ, player was completely dead(only error message on display) and now everything is working except display(backlight is flashing ). When I want to reinstall firmware or make factory reset, display work fine but I get E-8709: communication error. What the hell is going on?
