Master Tempo cracking and stuttering?

Well just like the the topic suggests.

You can start to hear them at around the 5 to 7% decrease or inrcreas, depending on the track.

I would like to be able to do the same things as I can do on traktor but this just makes things extremely difficult.

Ver 1.08

using CDs and wav format

Yamaha HS8 speakers, but can be noticed with simple 2.1 pc speakers too.

Is there something I'm missing or is this function just too hard to master for Pioneer? Kinda expecting the highest priced CDJs on the market to work properly with the few number of functions it has.

Master Tempo is least noticeable in the +/- 0 to 4% range, anything above that may result in artefacting.  Pioneer doesn't guarantee the quality as the source audio can also affect the output, as well as the style of music. You say you've tried with both CD and WAV, which would typically result in the best quality, so my guess is that you're getting the stuttering because of the fact it's above 4%.

So pioneer just can't handle a simple feature? Weird.. Why is it that the Numark NDX models can do something that they can't... Pretty dissapointed in this.

Or just a way to get professionals to buy the bigger and more expensive equipment?

Oh well..

Not true at all. Can you post one of the files you're having problems with and I'll see if I can replicate it here? I've got a pair of 350's and I've never had distortion so bad that I'd say it was intolerable. I'd like to hear it myself and compare to what you're experiencing.
