Hello everyone, I am new to this is blog.. I just finished purchasing a pair of cdj2000nexus, made the upgrade from the CDJ1000mk3, I had a question hopefully someone can help me out... I am not familiar with the USB/RekordBox feature, I only have used CDs all my life.. My question is does the quantize feature apply when using CDs? Are loops still able to be set perfectly? Or do you need to update the software? Thank you in advance...

There is no waveform, beat grid or quantize with un-analyzed (non-rekordbox) audio. You first need to import your music to rekordbox, then export it to a USB device (or SD card) and you will have full advantage of the player's functions.
