Suggestion for Pioneer to win the hardware market

Blend CDJ-2000 and DJM-900 features on a DDJ-SZ. It is already a gigantic controller, but so it is a CDJ + DJM setup.

Two screens, two CD drives, two USB and SD slots, one FX unit, done!

Pioneer could make some single deck controllers which could be added to the "DDJ-SZ-Frankenstein" so people would be able to play with 4 jog wheels, 4 pitch faders, etc, without having to choose between deck A or C on one of the jogwheels for example.

No more RCAs, no more bringing my own soundcard, no more bringing my own controller.

Yes, it will be expensive, but it will be made for clubs, they will pay for it, and they are the ones who have the big money, not the DJs!

What do you guys think?

You mean as opposed to now when they're not winning the hardware market? O_o

They have what you're asking for now; it's called 2x CDJ-2000nexus and a DJM-900SRT.

Making a "no-computer" version of the SZ would more than double the cost and nobody would buy it.

"no-computer version"?? why would I want that?!

Its about adding features to the DDJ-SZ not taking from it

The DDJ-SZ already works with Serato, Traktor and VDJ, with a couple of screens and some more hardware inside you will get something that fits what anybody may need

add a usb port to the SZ and allow the iPad to connect to act as a screen if needed like the R1, Ultimate controller.

The R1 was a great idea but fell short for me personally with it having small jog wheels and limited iPad app. Maybe one day the dream controller for RB users will arrive

yea, but Im not talking about something DJs would take to the club, because that is getting ridiculous, people are bringing their whole studios to the booth!

The clubs have the money, and they have stuff like sound system and visuals that are much more expensive than DJ-Booth-Gear. So let them spend!

Make a huge, all-in-one controller that will simply have more than any controller may offer.

Pioneer already has both, DDJ-SZ and CDJ+DJM. Mixing them surely won't be that hard, as RB and DJ Softwares don't really comunicate, they simply live on the same system.

Was originally hoping the Aero would evlove into this, then the R1 came along and hopes were high again.  Hell, I don't need full size jogs but they need to be high quality.  I don't need cd drives, and all the extra plastic and metal.  I do want a set of decent displays, a good mixing section, and all the cues and hot cues.  R1 is almost there...too heavy and not enough;(
