XDJ-RX and Chroma Caps

Has anyone used Chroma Caps on Pioneer gear? I am interested in buying some but I was wondering if the main knob on the RX (the one in the middle of the mixer that you use to scroll through songs, playlists etc) is replaceable. DJ TechTools (the company that makes & sells chroma caps) doesn't have a "kit" for this unit specifically. They sell regular knobs, super knobs, fatty knobs... I have no idea which knobs I'd need to replace. Also, would this void the warranty?

I'm not sure that encoder knob has a removable cap ... I've never tried. It would only void the warranty if it's not removable! lol

I won't mess with it until I know then. Is there someone I could email at Pioneer to ask this question?

Tech support may have a better idea of whether or not the cap is removable from their repair documentation.

Hi, you cant put chroma caps on the rx all knobs are not the same than ddj sx or djm :( i dont know why pioneer decide to change they knobs way..

I found Coolorcaps and they offer a lot more choices than chroma. Also, the encoder knob I was inquiring about above IS replaceable ... I have my XDJ-RX all "prettied up" now :P
