How to retrieve cue points after Rekordbox crash

Hi,

I read some posts about Rekordbox crashing and people losing days of work setting cue points and so on. I don't have a backup either, BUT, i synced the play list from my harddisk with my thumb drive. What I want to know is how to "import" the tracks with all CUE points back to my collection (which is all lost, by the way, in Rekordbox).

There should be a fix for it.

This is why I believe all file analysis should follow the music instead of being kept in a "hidden" library folder.

Please, any ideas?

Thanks.

PS: where is the database stored in MAC? I might recover it from my timecapsule. PS2: if there is an answer to the question above, I would like to have it as well. :)

~/Library/Pioneer/Rekordbox contains the "datafile.edb" which is where all the data is stored

If you have a crash, you can try using one of the backup database files located in the folder @BriChi has noted above.

Go to this folder: ~/Library/Pioneer/Rekordbox
There you will see some backup datafiles: datafile.backup.edb, backup2.edb... Duplicate the folder rekordbox (to avoid more headaches) and delete the datafile.edb and rename the newest datafile.backup to datafile.edb. If it does'nt work, try the second backup and so on. Hope you get it back! :)
