I have disabled Wifi, also firewall turned off, Im using Rekordbox 4.0, OS X Yosemite 10.10.5. The link button on Rekordbox on the Mac still does not show up. Any ideas???

XDJ-RX will not connect via New Macbook Pro to Rekordbox
Connect LAN/ethernet cable to my brand new Macbook Pro and new XDJ-RX, and it won't show up on Rekordbox software to connect. I have used a brand new converter (lighting to ethernet) as the new Macbook does not support ethernet. Any ideas?????

If you're connecting to a MBP via ethernet make sure an IP address has been signed to it, look under your Network settings. Also, check to ensure you've enabled the proper permissions as well. I can attest that it does work, I have my two XDJ + DJM900 connected to a Retina MBP. :)
