Thanks for working on this Pioneer, this is certainly a huge concern that I have as well being a new s9 owner.

FolgenDJM-S9 Crossfader cut in/silence setting
What does everyone think about the default amount of silence present at the end of each side of the cross fader when the laptop is not connected? I dunno about you guys, but I still enjoy coming home sometimes and practicing my cuts without needing my laptop out.
Check out this video for what I am referring to...

I really feel that they need to make the default amount smaller in another firmware update.

Have we heard anything regarding this issue, Pulse?
Eskei83 just told me that this should have changed with a new firmware and is set up with the little knob above the shift-button.
I'll have my S9 tomorrow and give it a try.
Yeah good luck with that (it aint happening). There is no lag setting available in the firmware update that is onboard the mixer. It just doesn't operate that way, as of yet.
Just got home and rechecked. No. Sorry. Eskei83 is wrong. There are other parameters available with the utility button but crossfader cut lag is not one of them. Nope, nope, nope.
Any news on this yet ?
any movement on this yet? definitely something that needs to be fixed. other than this the mixer is great!
Update coming soon!
Firmware 1.05 addresses the cut lag issue. You can grab it from the main pioneer S9 page.
You can't save the setting to the mixer still, BUT the default amount is a much more acceptable 1mm.
awesome. thanks so much for the responce. good to see pioneer is on this! and thanks for the help jaeone.
All good. I don't even own the S9 anymore, but just wanted to help other users going through the same issues.
